The 11th IACC brings together public, private and civil society actors in:
  Frank, open and constructive discussions
  Action-oriented - case studies - international perspectives
  Anti-corruption practitioners from all sectors
Coalition-building and forging new international projects

"Issues such as environment, crime, terrorism, and corruption carry no passports. They are beyond the power of any single nation to address on its own. Progress in the years ahead will require unprecedented levels of cooperation and collaboration among peoples of different cultures..."
United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan in a message to the 9th International Anti-Corruption Conference in Durban, 1999.

"True democracies are glass houses
open to public scrutiny, transparent and reliable, therefore democratic governments need citizens' participation in national and international non-governmental organisations to carry out proper monitoring of the conduct of government affairs. Combatting corruption requires the collaboration of all groups committed to the ethical exercise of government."
Vicente Fox Quesada, President of Mexico, at the 10th International Anti-Corruption Conference, Prague, 2001

Delegates will have the opportunity to send a powerful anti-corruption message to the intergovernmental Global Forum III, taking place 29-31 May 2003 in Seoul.

The conference will be hosted by the Government of the Republic of Korea and jointly organised by the Ministry of Justice, Korea, the IACC Council,
Transparency International and TI-Korea.
