Summary : This session will be devoted to the presentation of the preliminary results of an international research programme devoted to: "Ethics and corruption in education". In the first part, a presentation will be made on three areas where improvement on transparency in the use of educational resources can be achieved: namely: the decentralisation of education systems, the allocation of funds to school districts and education institutions and the production and distribution of textbooks. In the second part, the session will deal more particularly with ethical behaviour in educational management and administration, and references will be made to the following topics: academic fraud, teachers' codes of conduct and private tutoring. An overall conceptual framework for addressing corruption in education will be shared with the participants. Participants: All interested in the subject. Expected outcomes: sharing information with participants and building an information platform created for specialists to collect and exchange relevant knowledge on ethics and corruption in education.
