The Organizing Office for the GF
III and 11th IACC has selected hotels near the
congress venue with a wide range of rates for
the registrants. Hotel reservations should be
made through the Housing Bureau.
All reservations for registered delegates are
on a first-come, first-served basis. Accommodation
reservation needs should be made from the listed
subsidiary hotels. Due to basis peak traveling
season of the traveling, we strongly recommend
that registrants make accommodation arrangements
in Seoul as early as possible and pay a deposit
to secure their the room reservation(s). |

of cancellation or change of accommodation must
be sent to the Congress Secretariat in writing.

What
is a “Yeogwan?”
Budget watchers may enjoy the homey hospitality
of a Korean-style inn, or yeogwan. A yeogwan typically
provides a Korean mattress called yo, a Korean
quilt called ibul, and a hard pillow filled with
wheat husks called begae. During the winter, the
room is warmed by ondol, Korea's unique system
of under-floor heating. For an additional charge,
meals can be served in the privacy of one's own
room.
Today, many yeogwans have beds, private bathrooms
with hot water, and TVs. Reservations are not
normally required. Unlike hotels, guests are requested
to make full cash payment for their room when
checking in.
